Expat life support as unique as you are!
Carole Hallett Mobbs, Expat Life Mentor and Consultant
I’m Carole Hallett Mobbs, expat life mentor and consultant. Founder of ExpatChild.com, this Expat Directory and Expatability. Author of ‘Expat Education: An Expat’s Guide to Choosing a School Overseas‘
Do you need someone neutral and experienced to chat about your potential move and accompanying decisions, in complete confidence?
Instead of swimming against the tide of an ocean of information, I’ll give you the guidance you need, when you need it, to help you take control of this busy and often stressful time.
There are lots of people out there helping potential expats. They may have lived in more countries than me; they may have more kids than me – or no kids; they may have all kinds of letters after their name. However, there is absolutely no substitute for experience – whether that’s expat experience, parenting experience or life experience. I have the lot.
If you’re up for speaking to someone who is rational, pragmatic and plain-speaking, get in touch!
I’ll be up-front and honest with you, always; sharing my insight and cutting through the fluff. I believe in efficiency, so promise that I won’t drag out any programmes just for the sake of it. We all have busy lives and you have lots to organise.
I am unique, practical, full of real-life experience (so many experiences!) and several suitcases full of common-sense. My natural problem-solving abilities, independence and self-sufficiency will help you triumph at this busy, life-changing time.
Use my experience to help your move and life abroad be a success.
Helping you brainstorm key points when considering a move abroad, a relocation to a different country or even repatriation.
I’ll help you work through this complex decision-making process with advice, tips and ideas so that you understand all the important factors involved in moving overseas with your kids.
Perhaps you’re not sure if it’s the right move for you and your family. Maybe you need someone neutral to chat it all over with, in complete confidence. I’m here for you!
• How can I be sure I’m making the best decisions for my family?
• Should I even make this move abroad at all?
• When is the right time and right age to move with my children?
• What happens if this turns out to be a huge mistake?
• How do I help my children prepare for this move?
• How do I manage everything I need to get done?
Basically, research your visa options first through your chosen country’s government website.
Yes, you generally need a visa to go and live in another country!
There's a couple of articles on here that can take you through the main ways people relocate overseas.
Then you need to do your research on how best to make it happen.
