More than just grades going up or exams passed, although these are of course important, we want to help children improve their focus and concentration, ignite a life-long love of learning and help them cope better with stressful situations such as exams and school moves. Our teachers give children one to one attention, tailored learning and subtle mentoring meaning that their behaviour at home and at school is always positively affected.

We specialise in one to one tuition for the main academic subjects taught in UK schools and London schools’ entrance exams, particularly the 11+ and increasingly the 7+. We also offer academic assessments to help parents understand their child’s suitability for competitive London day schools.

We support families going through all kinds of educational change, be it moving schools, moving to London, passing exams or the diagnosis of additional needs.  Our experts can help with in depth schools’ consultancy, academic assessments and private tuition with qualified London school teachers.

Our most popular service is our Academic Assessment, which helps parents understand their child’s current academic performance and also their potential attainment with a view to helping them select the most appropriate next schools.  This is incredibly popular because parents find it difficult to obtain this information from their child’s current primary school (State and Independent alike).

Parents want to target schools where their children have a good chance of getting in and will thrive when they get there and so they find the data and advice we give them invaluable.  Our Academic Assessments are carried out by qualified London Primary School Teachers with years of experience at school entry.

To work with us and work with you, our tutors pass the most stringent tests. In addition to their teaching qualifications, we also check their degree certificate and take up two teaching references. All tutors must have an Enhanced DBS background check and we also perform extra identity checks including a copy of their passport and proof of their legal right to work in the UK. We meet all our prospective tutors in person and look for bright and interesting personalities; warm and friendly people who engage with their students and make learning enjoyable and accessible.
